Vendetta. The Joker, and now...Christopher Dorner joins the list of terrorist out to get revenge because of a system that has let them down. Though, this time it was real life and not just a comic book made movie. After four lives tragically taken, and several others wounded, the suspect is believed to have met his fatal end in the flames of a fiery cabin whose rising smoke wasn’t the sign of victory, but of tragedy, and a new era of domestic terrorism that whispers fear into the lives of the police and public alike. Why fear? Because this event has posed the question in everyone’s mind, “Who can we trust anymore?”
Christopher Dorner, a fired LAPD officer, in his manifesto, declared himself to be a man bullied by the system to the point of taking vengeance. As a result, he justified his acts of terrorism as necessary to expose and end corruption in the police department. Last Friday, we at Truth Hacks interviewed several people, asking whether they think corruption in the government is a problem. With an astounding 100% replying “yes”, we determined that a majority of people in the United States side with Dorner, believing that corruption is a problem.
After I read Dorner’s manifesto, I found that no doubt he was an angry man. A man who held on tight to offenses in his past, never dealing with the unforgiveness that calloused his heart over to a point of no return. It wouldn’t be proper for me to quote him, but in his own words he clearly identified his rejection of truth, invalidating the truth of God’s Word in his own mind, and taking a dishonest siding against Christ Himself when Dorner claimed that Jesus was never called any derogatory racial slurs. Indeed Christ was, in John 8:48 the Jews “said unto [Jesus], Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?” As a Jew, to be called a Samaritan in the days of Jesus is like being called a half-bred mutt.
Nevertheless, Dorner identifying corruption as the problem, victimized himself, and then attempted to take matters into his own hands, going about it by terror. We also posed this question to our interviewee’s; can we as individuals do anything about the problem of corruption? In one interview, Jeremy frustratingly answered, “I wouldn’t know how...We don’t really know the truth behind everything.” Other interviewee’s put the responsibility on who we vote for, while others answered with a confident “No,” believing there is nothing we can do about it. Jose said, “if we try to do something about it we will most likey get in trouble.”
Corruption is a fact of this world. God made man upright, but he has sought after many inventions. There is no doubt this world lies in wickedness, and it grieves God. Every man is against his brother, and violence fills the earth. How do we know corruption is a problem? Well it is clearly evident. Politicians are arrested for fraud, sex scandals, racism, and even genocide in some parts of the world. Empty promises and lies are spoken from their mouths without any hesitation, all in an attempt to gain influence and power.
In no way am I exposing the corruption of our system’s to justify the actions of Dorner. A terrorist indeed, went about the peace process without any peace in his own life. Attempting to make peace with a sword, he only added to the chaos. Tell me, where is the logic in that? The peace process begins in you and me. We are accountable for the peace in our lives, and that only comes when we tap into the power of the Prince of Peace.
Peace is an idea mankind has strived for since time has been recorded. Our greatest attempts for it have only proven failure in the end. But, this is an idea being pushed in the world today that is grabbing the hearts and minds of people of all kindred and tongues. (I say, of a truth, peace apart for Jesus is a lost cause.)
Current events like Dorner, Sandy Hook, and Aurora, have caused fear and clearly made public safety a major issue; a reality, I don’t know, but issue indeed. These events have even turned certain areas of our country into a temporary police state. Authorities with fully automatic rifles hold up car lines not letting anyone pass through without being interrogated. Is this scene becoming a norm in today’s society? Who would submit to a man with a rifle and full suit of armor?
Given the fact that people who hold positions of authority, like Dorner, are capable of such terror, I’m quite confident that giving more power to a military/police force isn’t the answer to peace or public safety. We asked several of our interviewee’s; do you think creating a military/police state is the answer to peace and public safety? Most replied with confidence, “No.” I am convinced that most people, when they know the truth, aren’t willing to give up their freedom. Unless they are genuinely deceived. This is why we created Truth Hacks.
With that said, we want to bring to light what is the truth happening behind the scenes of all this chaos.
Peace is the cry of most politicians, but they think giving up rights is the answer to peace, and they relentlessly push for our agreement. The Bible prophecies of a time in the near future when tyranny will have total control over the public. Truth Hacks asked, do you think events like these are swaying the public acceptance of a total police state in the name of safety? One anonymous interviewee said, “oh yeah, it’s gonna happen.” After all, they here for our protection right?...right? well…maybe? Maybe not. Another anonymous interviewee mentioned, “well yes, just look at gun control.” He went on to say, ‘the Bible says we are to submit to civil authority, even if they are corrupt, but we don’t look to them for our protection. Protection is God’s job.”
Paul writes, “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thess 5:3)” The cry for peace sounds so good, but it won’t happen in the scheme of individuals compromising personal God-given rights, and truths, all for the cause of peace and safety. Why? Because of the influence of Satan, and the evil in men’s hearts will allow for such terror beyond what any of us are willing to comprehend.
The Anti-Christ and false prophet will be politicians under the influence of Satan, given over to such terror I am speaking of. We read in the Bible, “he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Rev 13:15)” This man, and his army, will force conformity upon people and kill the ones who don’t want to conform. They will justify their genocide and mass murder by claiming the disobedient ones are a disturbance to the peace of society, but the reality is they are being used to push a demonic agenda that will proceed no further than God will let it, 3 and ½ years.
In conclusion, I want to encourage and exhort the individuals who have allowed the hype and buzz of societal chaos and media coverage to strap them down in the bondage of fear: put your trust in the Lord. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. The Lord says that vengeance belongs to Him. Some things in this world just aren’t right, but do we take matters into our own hands and end up dead or at least in jail, or should we apply the basic principals of truth, and turn the other cheek?
We can’t resist the prophecies. God’s word says it will happen, so it will happen. It is up to us as a Christian to understand the prophecies, and get in position to be used for exploits by God.
Government isn’t the solution to the problem. A different president isn’t the solution to the problem; people hold both of those offices and people are the problem. As the old song says, “Jesus is the answer, for the world today. Above Him there is no other. Jesus is the way.”
